Gathering Pollen While the Sun Shines

This will be quick.

Backyard Bug of the Day:

Sweat bee on morning glory. We, the bugs and I, may not have much more time to glory in these beautiful flowers; there could be a frost tomorrow night, and that is usually what ends their blooming season. Grab that nectar while you can, bee! Also, note the pollen stuck to the bee.

Due to severe time constraints, this is the only insect I have for you today.

Looking at the morning glory pictures I took, I realized that I was photobombed by another insect–a hoverfly.
