Snow Birds

The designation of March as the beginning of meteorological spring is about record keeping. It really doesn't have much to do with the actual weather, at least not around here.

 As you may be able to guess, I didn't see any snakes today.

 I did see Juncos, aka snow birds.

And... Winter fireflies!


Living up to their name. I am sure they are looking forward to tomorrow's more seasonable temperatures, though (which will still be only in the 40s).
