If you don't want to see spiders, you should leave today's post right now, because that's all there is to see.
As expected, I was unable to do a bug walk today because it was raining all day. Actually, that's not really so expected, because it hardly ever rains all day. It might rain most of the day, but there is usually a brief pause in the rain, and I use those brief pauses to go outside and look for whatever bugs are not hiding out from the weather. But today it rained all day, so I had to satisfy myself with what I could find in the house. There was a crane fly in here–no idea how it got in–but I didn't get a picture of it, and I don't know where it went.
And there were two spiders. They were quite cooperative, just sitting still in the middle of the floor (in different rooms. They were not together). I don't know why I find spiders sitting in the middle of the room funny, but I do.
There is a lot of rain in the forecast for the rest of the week. Whether or not I get a chance to do a bug walk remains to be seen.
