Very Funny

April Fools' Day came a day late this year:

 Yesterday we reached 60ºF. Today we got 5 inches of snow. Then it warmed up, and most of the snow melted. Mother Nature's idea of a joke.

 

 This insect didn't think it was funny.

It didn't seem able to fly out of the snow.

My biggest surprise today was finding a few candy striped leaf hoppers. I wonder if they got caught out by the plummeting temperatures.

 

Midge. By the time I found this one the temperature was back into the low 40s.

 This spider was not concerned with the weather; it was on the inside of my bedroom window.

 

I found this one on the bird feeder when I went outside to refill it.
