I looked back at my blogs from this time last year, and there were definitely more kinds of bugs around then...
Backyard Bug of the Day:
I think this is a new species for me. It still amazes me that I occasionally find something I haven't seen before.
Random Bugs:
How are your bug spotting skills?
Mine are pretty good.
Small milkweed bug nymph. I think.
It would appear that the white hickory tussock moth caterpillars have reached the next phase in their development; they are done eating, and are now marching around the backyard looking for a place to pupate - which is how they will spend the winter, under the leaf litter.
No spiders today, no arachnids to appreciate.
