A Quick Blog

I didn't find much in the backyard today, in spite of it being a beautiful day, but that is mainly due to not spending a lot of time, and a general inattention on my part. Sorry. Off day. Though I am going to blame uncooperative bugs for some of the problems.

Backyard Bug of the Day:

 This is definitely the season of tiny caterpillars. Here's a little looper. Unfortunately for the looper, I think that white spot on its side might be the egg of a parasite.

 If you look very closely you can just see the funnel web spider in its funnel.
